IDM

Internet Download Manager says "The file has been moved" when I downloaded a large file. Why?

SOLUTION:

METHOD-1:

Please follow This Path=> C:/users/"user name"/AppData/Roaming/IDM/DwnlData/"user name"/ 

 then right click-- sort by--date modified.. now check all those folders matching with the date you have started that lost download... when you find that file of size 100 MB in any one folder (100*1024 KB= 102400KB) you may need to change the file extension(to *.mp4 or *.exe or whatever the extension of the file was while you were downloading).

METHOD-2:

1. OPEN IDM-->Options>save to>temporary directory.... copy the directory address --->paste to windows explorer addres and enter
2. then, finds "DwnlData" folder (tadaaaa!! ur hidden file is here)

Next:
3. Open the files one by one ( track the file by looking 8 the date modified). Open each the file using "open with" until u find ur video.
4. once u find ur video, go to menubar ---> click Tools ---> view ---> UNMARK "hide extensions for known file types"
5. then, go to ur file again.simply RENAME the file by adding(*.Mp4, *.exe, or *.avi)
Example: ori file name that ur find (My_File) ---> rename ur file (My_File.Mp4)

6. THE END.. u can copy the video anywhere u want.
